ViCATS-AGS

ViCATS-AGS is a computer-based automated gaging system that combines new technologies and high performance data acquisition electronics with a color touch-screen display and a graphical user interface. ViCATS systems can be configured for semi or fully automatic gaging.

Shown is the AUTO MODE screen of a gaging station that simultaneously measures part width, in two places, and run-out.

Sequential and/or simultaneous gaging routines. User determined gaging sequences and quantity of measuring devices. Screens can be customized to user specific preferences. Dynamic gage calibration. Dynamic gage calibration and calibration verification with user defined tolerances.

• Built-in statistics such as SPC and Automated Gage R&R provide complete system and process analysis.

In certain applications, gaging can be combined with leak testing, solving multiple quality assurance requirements in a "one-system", "one-fixture" solution. ViCATS (Visual Control And Test System) can perform attribute gaging, such as threaded hole and stud detection, dimensional gaging, such as hole location and diameter, and leak and flow testing, all in the same test fixture. Custom screens can be configured to provide the user with a completely tailored product. Shown to the right is a LASER sensor that detects the presence of a threaded hole.
