Shown controlling a 2-station leak and flow test machine is ViCATS-PLC. A computer based system with graphical user interface and integrated PLC. Fixtures incorporate pins that “proof” all mounting bolt holes and sensors that detect the presence of threads in all tapped holes.

 

Exhaust Manifolds are air leak tested and runner ports are measured for airflow restriction. Accepted parts are identified with an air impact marking device.
